We’re shielding our players from predatory practices with a great new feature.  It’s called Player Protection and it’s in effect at all our cash game tables.  When browsing cash game tables, you won’t be able to see who you are playing against until you sit down and pay a big blind.

We’ve introduced this feature to prevent people from targeting poor players and hurting our cash games.  If you’re tired of people opening up cash games looking for weak players before deciding whether to play, you’ll appreciate Player Protection.

How it works:

Player Protection is applied universally across all our cash games.  There is no way to disable this feature.  When you first open a table, you’ll receive a message indicating that you cannot see the names of the players at the table until you’ve paid to play.  While you can click the checkbox to prevent this message from appearing again, Player Protection will always remain active.
